What is Peer Counseling?
Peer support comes in the form of peer counseling. The objective is to assist customers in feeling heard and understood, to listen intently, and to offer emotional support. Since peer counselors lack official professional training, their knowledge and abilities are inferior to those of licensed counselors. It is advised that clients get assistance from a skilled and experienced counselor or therapist if they are dealing with difficult issues and require more in-depth care.

EmpowerU&I is a mental health website initiated by BEM Faculty of Psychology UI 2023 and BEM Faculty of Computer Science UI 2023.
